ABOUT:
Portuguese pianist Bernardo Santos has performed extensively across 20 countries, captivating audiences in renowned venues such as Casa da Música in Portugal, Palau de la Musica Catalana in Spain, and the National Concert Hall in Dublin. He has collaborated with numerous orchestras, including the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra and the Barcelona Metropolitan Orchestra, under the direction of notable conductors like Ernst Schelle and Ligia Amadio.
As a chamber musician, Bernardo has worked with distinguished artists like Artur Pizarro and recorded for labels including Da Vinci Publishing and MPMP. He is also involved in research on Portuguese composers, including Berta Alves de Sousa and Ruy Coelho, while giving masterclasses globally. Currently pursuing a PhD in Music Performance at the University of Aveiro, he has studied at prestigious institutions and serves as president of the World Piano Teachers Association (WPTA) Portugal, co-founder of the Festival Internacional de Piano y Orquesta de Guadalajara…
