About the event

ABOUT:

The "Music from Nat & Liszt" concert, featuring the talented Pana and Nat Yontararak, unfolded with a captivating program that intertwined the musical brilliance of Nat Yontararak with the iconic compositions of Franz Liszt. The performance began with Liszt's Étude de Paganini No.5, showcasing the virtuosity and technical prowess shared by both Yontararak and Liszt. The connection deepened with Liszt's interpretations of Wagner's works, including "Spinnerlied" from The Flying Dutchman and the Fantasy piece on themes from Rienzi.

The essence of the evening lies in the shared musical language of Nat Yontararak and Franz Liszt, both distinguished composers and pianists. Their commonality lies not only in their technical mastery but also in their propensity to elaborate on renowned tunes with exceptional flair. The piano became a medium through which both artists expressed their musical vision, intertwining classical brilliance with personal interpretation.

Notably, Nat Yontararak's contribution to the program, the Piano Sonata No.1 "Glory to our Great Kings," adds a unique dimension to the concert. Celebrating its 30th anniversary, this composition exemplifies Yontararak's own compositional prowess, echoing the grandeur of the great kings of Chakri Dynasty it pays homage to. The "Music from Nat & Liszt" concert, thus, became a celebration of two exceptional musicians united by their shared love for pianistic exploration and innovation.
