Sunny Trio & Natt Buntita (JAZZ)

Sunny Trio & Natt Buntita is a special collaboration between Thailand’s top jazz artists : Rattana ‘Sunny’ Wongsansern, one of the most virtuosic pianist and fine composer and country’s most prolific and award-winning jazz vocalist Natt Buntita Prachamorn.

“Groovy Recipe” - their latest album contains 8 songs which are great combinations of Thai Contemporary folk songs from Kru Paiboon Bootkhan, famous Thai comtemporary folk composer, with modern jazz, neo soul and electronic sounds. And also compositions from Sunny Trio & Natt Buntita which bring tasty groove to the audience. 

Jazz pianist/composer maestro Sunny Rattana graduated classical piano performance with first class honor from Chulalongkorn University. Started from self-taught then had proper lesson with Nu Vudthivichai. He received awards from Thailand Jazz Competition 1st, 2nd ,3rd – H.M. The King’s Trophy for the Jazz Band, Outstanding Musician Award and winner of the Greeley Jazz Festival, USA.

Natt Buntita, often called as Thailand’s First Lady of Jazz. She is best known for her incomparable great musical ability with bop-flavored scat singing technique. She was also awarded Best Jazz Vocalist from Thailand Jazz Competition by Silpakorn University -- the premier jazz competition under the patronage of His Majesty King Bhumipol Adulyadej.

Chanutr ‘Hong’ Techatana-nan, absolutely innovative and exciting jazz drummer on Thai jazz scene.

Siriwat ‘Tae’ Pliansanthia, considered by many as the most in-demand and prominent jazz bassist in the country.
